Lahore Qalandars and the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center solidified their collaboration today by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Lahore Qalandars, the reigning champions in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), extend their influence beyond the cricket pitch with a strategic partnership with the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Centre (PKLI & RC). This collaboration, fueled by their recent back-to-back PSL titles, emphasizes Lahore Qalandars’ commitment to being a symbol of hope, resilience, and unity, not only in cricket but also in championing health causes.

This partnership represents a significant step towards jointly promoting awareness about diseases. Recognized for their commitment beyond the sporting arena, Lahore Qalandars will leverage their platform to amplify PKLI & RC’s Awareness Campaigns.

In alignment with their shared commitment to community well-being, Lahore Qalandars will actively support and participate in initiatives aimed at educating the public about the prevention and treatment of kidney and liver diseases. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to make a substantial impact on public health by fostering a culture of awareness and proactive healthcare.

While talking to the media Prof Saeed Akhtar Chairman BoG, PKLI emphasized the significance of having Lahore Qalandars as brand ambassadors to support PKLI in reducing the disease burden of kidney & liver diseases in Pakistan through joint activities, awareness campaigns, and fund-raising events.

Prof Faisal Dar Dean, PKLI thanked Lahore Qalandars for their active contribution to society and underscored the importance of such partnerships to create awareness on the prevention and treatment of such deadly diseases and to raise much-needed funds to save precious lives.
