Lahore Qalandars has embarked on to extend the reach of its renowned Qalandars High Performance Center to universities, aiming to foster a new generation of cricketing talent. This strategic move is part of the two-time PSL champions franchise’s broader vision to enhance sports education and provide advanced training facilities to aspiring athletes at the grassroots level.
As a significant milestone in this expansion, the Qalandars High Performance Center is being relocated to the University of Lahore. This partnership marks a pivotal step towards integrating world-class cricket training with academic excellence, ensuring that student-athletes receive comprehensive support both on and off the field. The state-of-the-art facilities at the University of Lahore will serve as the new hub for developing future cricket stars.
In addition, Lahore Qalandars had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi this May. Under this agreement, the NED-Qalandars High Performance Center is also under construction and will commence operations soon, further solidifying the Qalandars’ commitment to nurturing cricketing talent across Pakistan. This collaboration underscores the franchise’s dedication to promoting sports education and excellence throughout the country.
