The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars has contributed significantly to the growth of cricket in Pakistan. It has been their towering efforts that a gem of a cricketer like Shaheen Shah Afridi was unraveled from the mountains of Khyber Agency and then streamlined carefully, as a frontline pacer, into the national side.
Another product of the Qalandars’ gracious efforts has been Farzan Raja. The young Qalandar took to Twitter to make fans aware of his progress and in his debut with Cricket Tasmania, he took 3 wickets and gave away 39 runs against North Hobart Cricket Club in his 10 overs.
This didn’t go unnoticed by the Lahore Qalandars CEO Sameen Rana who appreciated Farzan's efforts and urged him to keep working hard in order to achieve further success.
