If there is any team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) which is to make a statement, it surely has to be the Lahore Qalandars who finished dead last in all the editions of the tournament, thus, earning a bad name for themselves.
After three years of dreadful cricket, LQ finally seems to understand the consequentiality of having a meaningful mix in the squad as they equipped their unit with some very versatile cricketers to regain the lost pride in the fourth season of PSL. With the likes of Ab De Villiers, Corey Anderson, Mohammad Hafeez, Carlos Brathwaite, Fakhar Zaman and Sandeep Lamichhane in the crew, LQ sits as a top unit on paper.
Sameen Rana, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of LQ was found pleased with the squad their think tank picked as he feels that the management was able to meet their targets. He also dealt the queries of the fans concerning other players as he informed them about the unavailability of some big fishes of the T20 cricket. Expressing gratitude towards the brains behind the team, Sameen is hoping for a spectacular run in the coming tournament of Pakistan’s T20 extravaganza.
